I want to thank Chad for such a great job on my new River runner and Kentucky TJ and saw pilot 75 on here and there honest opinions and thoughts on there river runners from chad  so I ordered from chad wow what a great decision the bow is 62"52#@29" what a smooth dead in the hand shooting bow and I will say it's the quietest bow I have ever shot the woods are Macassar ebony with chechen center stripe and Myrtle veneers from the wood gallery I am really looking forward to late season and trying to fill a antlerless tag to break it in i will try to post more pics photobucket is giving me fits but for anyone looking for a quality recurve at a great price give Chad a call you won't be ashamed

That man could not build an ugly bow if you paid him to. And they shoot as good as they look.

Last I heard they are not in production yet, he has been real busy. Hopefully he will chime in with an update on when he will be putting it in production.

The bow turned out nice.  Thanks for the nice words.  Its a lot darker then what shows in the picture and is very attractive.

Jayrod  is a good guy.  I enjoyed getting to know him.

I will be ready to offer the 56" Kodiak River Runner  in January.  I need to build a couple more to finalize the design then we will add some pictures to the web site.  Chad

oh man that 56"er sounds like a real winner for someone with a short 26.5" draw like me.

I keep coming back to this thread .  Great looking bow, love the veneers.   Just curious what grip u went with and what the wait time is?    Enjoy your bow.

Thxs Andy I really love this bow it's my first one piece recurve it's such a enjoyable bow to shoot the grip is a 60's style Kodiak grip which fits my big hands great and my wait time for the build was 8 weeks to get it but contact Chad he would be able to give you a closer build time but you won't go wrong if you decide to order one

I did some tuning last weekend and heres the results with a 31"400 spine arrow and 200grains upfront weighing 560 grains which gives me 10.8 gpp I think this is good so I wanted to share with you
