Was at my local archery shop today and this hill style bow came in   (sorry about the link cant figure out how to post picture)

Its a very short hill style bow 56" 78#@28 but it is ridiculously smooth some how. Says Custom bush bow on the riser but trophy hunter on the upper limb.I can't make out the bowyer but the old man at the shop was telling me the guy used to live around here.  Anyone know anything about it?

This is a straight limbed bow, 78#@28 inches, and only 56 inches long.  Wow! I would guess it was made by a hobby builder.  The builder's name appears to be on it, but I can't make it out.

I know right? I've never seen this style of bow this short. But the weird thing is it was incredibly smooth drawing I had to check the indicated weight to be sure it was really that much.  It shot well and the dished grip was very comfy. It had tip overlays but I think it had dacron which may have made it feel smoother?

Might not be the first bow that was incorrectly marked

Rodney Wright makes a Bushbow at 54", 56" and up.  Go to his site and see if it compares.

Hard to judge a bow with just a pic of a small section of the fade area.
