Weather was balmy so I gave KAT a shout to see if his new hip was good to go stumping. I'm getting my other knee renewed on Monday so off we went. We went to the scene of stumpfest, Rockwood State Forest, and spent 2 hours selecting targets and doing our best to hit them. I will say that most of the time our arrows could be pulled or picked up at the same time.......which means I shot real good for me. I was shooting my new Holm-Made dual shelf......we get along well. Ken's getting around great and it was a great morning. I'll be down for a bit after my new knee but I hope not to long. :)
Glad you fellas had a good time stumping... Hope to have you both back to my place soon... Best of luck with your "new knee" Ron!

Hoping you have a quick recovery Ron. Getting old is not for sissys, got a bad hip myself. I'd like to get it replaced but the VA wants to wait til I'm older, and don't need it as much. Go figure.

Hope you have a speedy recovery, Ron. And I'm glad to hear Ken is out and about and getting around.
Just got home from my surgery......all appears to have gone well
Well I had mine left Ulnar nerve transposition surgery yesterday. DOC said it went well but hard for me to tell right now. I got a pretty good sized incision across my elbow and experiencing some pretty good swelling. All natural so still confident all will end well. To many bows hanging waiting to be shot.
Good for both of you. I go to the doc on the 12th for discussing what I will be doing.
Get well soon guys!
Hi Ron, hope you have quick recovery and can rival the bionic man in no time!
Terry K.
Good luck. I've had my left knee rebushed and it made my life MUCH better. Hope yours works as well.
Do what the pretty but mean nurse/therapist tells you.
Best wishes on the recovery Ron. I get my 2nd one next Monday - hoping it gos as well as the 1st.
Praying for quick and pain free recovery for you Ron!!
Good luck Ron - my Dad got both his knees replaced 3 years ago at 69 years of age. This past trip to WV a few weeks ago, his 72 year old self went up and down the steep WV mountains just as often, and just as hard as the rest of us did!
His only complaint ever is that he didn't do it sooner. He pushed recovery HARD and that was key to a more-than-full recovery for him. I hope you are in the same boat in a few short months!
Good luck with the surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Ron,
wishing for a speedy recovery and therapy. Do what the PT's tell you and you will be further ahead!
Remember-keep 'er limber in the timber!! Lol
Good luck!
Kenny
