Just got the word from Bob Sarrels, my new Blueridge S/R longbow is about ready to ship. I am so excited for this beauty to arrive. Highly figured Bolivan Rosewood/Bocote riser with Boo cores and very figured Bocote veneers. 60" and 46# @ 28", which are perfect for me.
Can't wait to get it because these are some of the best shooters out there.

I like mine a lot. You have a very nice one there, and they are very nice to deal with. I actually live close enough, and drove over there.
I'm not a big fan of Bocote, but that looks amazing. Enjoy your new bow and let us know how you like it when it comes.
I am a HUGE fan of bocote! That is one gorgeous bow.
Let us know your first impressions after shooting it.
Great bows enjoy
Doug that one is awesome! After shooting 2014 Ms. Faith I knew I had to have one someday. It's one of the only bows I don't have in my stable that I wish I had. They shoot awesome!
Now that is purdy right there!!
Beautiful bow, alway's like me some bocote.
I was not surprised to see Bisch as the first responder to this thread!
Congrats on the new bow!
Looks like a hunting machine. Congratulations on your new bow. Looks really nice. You will have to give us a shooting report when you get it.
God bless
Congrats on the new stick...it looks great!
Thats a real beauty for sure, congrats.
Beautiful Doug. I love the Bocote. :clapper: :clapper:
Great looking bow, congrats! I went to Bob's shop about a year ago... great guy to chat with over a beer. Oh yea, he also makes excellent bows.
I'm still waiting. Hopefully, it will arrive early next week. Can't wait to shoot it and will give a report once I receive it.
The Blueridge came in yesterday and I had a chance to shoot a few with it. Smooth as butter on the draw with pure consistency anywhere from beginning to full draw. I am shooting CE Heritage 150's with 150 grain points and they fly like darts. My first few shots were more of looking at arrow flight than picking a spot. Once I was convinced the arrows were spined properly, the groups at 18-20 yards were tight and consistent. Very little sound at the shot, so this one is very quiet.
Like I told Bob Sarrels yesterday, I think I have just found my new best friend.

My Blueridge is my best friend!!!!!!
