Good evening all, I was wanting to get some feedback on the Predator Recurve offered by Three Rivers. Thinking of ordering a new recurve. I will be wanting #50 at 28. Thank you all in advance. have a blessed one.
Nice shooters. I have several different bows including 2 Bear TD. Keep coming back to the Predator for performance and accuracy. They can be difficult to silence but for me I think it was more my release(plucking) than the bow. They are smooth drawing. I have both a 50# and 60# limbs. The 60#ers are super zippy! The 50# are also really good performers.
The handle/grip are thick but set in the hand really nicely.
In the end, it comes down to personal preferences, but you can't go wrong with one.

I'm with Brian K also 100%. I to have a Bear Takedown that is rarely shot because my Predator Hunter is my go to bow. Mine however is 46# at 28. It shoots an arrow more like a 50#er. Great shooter, smooth, it takes a little work to quiet down. Dead in the hand and i love the grip and i have size med hands. You can't go wrong.
One suggestion, you might want to buy it directly from Hunters Niche. Great people. Excellent consumer service. A buddy of mine bought a 50#er from Hunters Niche after he shot my bow. He felt a little over bowed. After 3 months of regular shooting he called Mike and they exchanged his limbs for 46#ers. Didn't even charge him for shipping. I don't mean to disrespect 3 Rivers but I do like to support the Bowyer themselves.
I have been shooting one for about a year now and I love it! It is a 60" and 46# bow which is probably closer to 50# at my draw length and it shoots just as fast and hard as my longbow that is 10# heavier. I don't think you could go wrong with a Predator.
Thanks all. PeteA Going to check them out.. Again Thanks and happy Holidays to All of you!!!
Great bows!
I have a predator recurve and I love it. Mine is 47 pounds and it shoots a touch faster than my 50 pound bob lee. Both smooth and nice shooting, but I prefer my predator. Only other bow I like that much is my super kodiaks.
Great shooters. I have several and wouldn't seel any of them. Fast and smooth. Great bow for the money.
...that's supposed to be sell any of them. You may also want to check out Ron's website. They have some very nice wood combo's available.

I had a 60" and 55# classic. Great grip and smooth drawing. One of the loudest bows ive owned though. And probably the fastest. It will definately let you know when you have a form break.
Love mine. Call me crazy but I traded my ilf bow from a good bowyer for it and am still very happy with the deal.
The predator is a real shooter...try one out and see for yourself. It can be returned to three rivers if you don't like it and you will only be out the cost of shipping
I have had one for several years. I have never shot any other bow better than this one. Get a string made of Fury from Ten Ring Strings (Allen Shafer) and it will quiet it right down. Super bows and a super string. Oh by the way, customer service is second to none!
I agree also, great bows, the Predator. I bought my son a Custom Classic for college graduation. He also has the metal riser velocity. I have a Predator Anniversary edition.
These bows are so classic in their appearance, very stable to string and unstring, solid, quiet, and high performer. Oh, and they are finished beautifully.
Can't go wrong with this bow!
