Hey guys... I just wanted to give a shout out to Scott Moore from WAC Outdoors for a fantastic week of hunting and fellowship in South Carolina. Scott really put me on the hogs and went above and beyond all my expectations to make the week enjoyable. Scott did his part but I'm ashamed to say that I went 0 for 3 on my part ! No excuses other than I need to spend the majority of my shooting time in an elevated position since most of my hunting is out of a tree stand. All my shots went high. I have been blessed to harvest 13 deer hunting with a compound bow but have yet to get the "monkey off my back" hunting with the longbow. I'm gonna stick with it though. Stubborn is what my friends say. Scott was very patient with me and offered lots of instruction and encouragement. He truly is a "brother from another mother" and I'm very blessed to call him my friend !
Not surprised in the least that you enjoyed the special joy of camaraderie and fellowship with Mr. Scott Moore.
Scott is a fine fellow....Stick with it you will get it yet....I'll be glad to share some of the techniques I've learned to help you with your problem - send me a PM if you are interested in some advice....
Thank you for this post Tradcat. It was great having you up for a hunt. We'll get em next time!
Scott has tons of knowledge and experience with archery. He has harvested well over 100 whitetails and dozens of hogs in his nearly 50 years of quests. I attended a couple of his events and learned a lot. He is a great sportsman and an even better fellow. WAC Outdoors is awesome.
