Just got my new 58" Cheyenne. What brace height should I start with? Are you measuring it from the throat of the grip. It is SWEET!!
Thanks, Jr.
Check out Bob's site under charts and it will tell you the recommended brace. Cannot help you on a 58" but my 56" is 6 1/4 to 6 3/4. Yes from the throat of the grip.
Danny
My 58" Cheyenne shoot nice and quiet at 7 inches.
Danny, I did look at the chart, what's confusing me is the string has almost no twist in it and the brace is at 7 1/4. Jr.
My 58" also shoots great at 7" and that is were bob told me to start around. My string measures about 55 and one quater inches tip to tip unstrung and it does have some twist to it.

Guss,
Call Bob, maybe you got the wrong string, stuff happens and I know for a fact Bob will get ya the correct string for it.
Danny
Thanks guys for the info. I'll check the string length unstrung, and go from there. Jr.
I've had the best luck at 6 3/4, nothing less than this has worked for me.
My "sweet spot" on my 58" is 6 1/2". Bob said 7" when I asked, but when I told him how it was shooting at 1/2" less, he said "Leave it there."

The old "don't fix it if it ain't broke" theory. I haven't met or talked with Bob, but I think I like him!
