After seeing a video of Chad Holms new 64" River Runner I felt it was only right that I own one. Many of you know I'm a real fan of Holm-Made bows and that just got confirmed. 64" 46.5# @ 29", green glass on the back, Osage riser, and the best looking cherry I have ever seen on the belly. This has a phenolic "I" beam and Chad gave me a dual shelf. So, I take it out of the shipping tube and I'm smitten by the Osage, just beautiful.
Then I see the cherry on the belly, it's wild. I string it up and out the door I go with a bunch of arrows, just to see what it likes. 2016 alum, 45/60 carbons, 60-65 and 50-55 cedars. Shot the bow 15 yards and then 20 yards. The bow don't care........shot all those arrows like they were made for it. Chad once again amazes me with his skill as a bowyer and his turn around time is very good. Should have some pics shortly......
Congrats on the new bow Ron...sounds like a real beauty! Looking foward to pics!
It's always nice to get a new stick!
Congrats on yours!
Bisch

Thanks Ken...... :notworthy:
No problem. Looking forward to shooting this one.
I like that - a long recurve with a dual shelf! Must be awfully smooth, and sounds forgiving on spine even with the dual cut-outs.
Hey, Ron....just exactly how many bows are in your possession. I expect you to win the Muzzy with this one next year.
Wow, good looking bow, Ron!
Nice looking bow!

:dunno: Way more than I need.....but we all have our vice's to contend with. I really enjoy bows of all types, Hills and Hill style, good "D" shaped longbow. Now I have several Bear T/D's and most anything Chad Holm's makes......if it's not to heavy......lol. Bows, knives', bikes.....it's all good.
AWESOMEEEE looking bow
Awesome bow ron !!I have one on order also and Chad has been sending me build pics she's gonna be a looker for sure i cant wait to get it and shoot it..Chad is such a Great guy to do business with
I like it! Nice bow.
looks good
Great looking bow, and it's only going to get purtier as that Osage ages.
That cherry really looks nice, how about a couple full length pics.
very nice Ron
Nice bow,, I just love osage riser bows with black accents..
Took my new bow out for another test run, shot half the time right handed and half left handed. This is a beauty.....smooth all the way to 29"+ and is just a joy to shoot. Even did pretty good left handed......actually better than right....lol :dunno:
Great looking bow Ron !!! Hoping one day to get a chance to shoot some of Chad's bows.
Nice!
Beautiful bow Ron
I like it, I have thought about ordering myself a dual shelf bow. I will have to keep Chad in mind.
Thanks for sharing .
Ron that bow is a stunner! Bravo to Chad. One of the best around.
Ron, that bow is awesome. I have another on order as well and plan on getting one with black glass in the future. I have carried mine all fall and can't wait to put the first notch in it. Chad makes a awesome bow. Yours is stellar. Have fun with it.
Looks Good !
Yup, that is crazy grained Cherry! One in a million there!
Great looking bow, congrats.
May it serve you well.
Ron always has to have me do something a little different. I suppose he has to have a way of telling all his bows apart. LOL
He is a very nice man, the epitome of what a traditional archer should be. Thanks again for the nice words and the business.
Chad
Very nice. I don't know why exactly but I have always really liked dual shelf bows. Sweet osage!
Dean
Man that is a nice clean looking bow.
This is a good opportunity for me to endorse Chad's bows.
Recently we made a trade for a hog hunt whereby he and his nephew and son, and I all went to Florida for some awesome hog hunting.
July fourth weekend...It was hot, but we went out late in the day, and shot 9 hogs in as many days.
We all had fun, but especially the boys.
Back to the bows.
Chad built us two Osprey longbows for his part of the trade, and Priscilla and I love them.
Both are made from his nice selection of Cherry.
His workmanship and woods are awesome.
They shoot as good as they look.
  Thanks for all the good comments. Also for speaking well of Chad.....good guy and a great bowyer.
Took her out stumping.......I'm very happy.
Thanks. I just used the other matching pair of cherry veneers from your bow on a 56"er. Neat piece of wood.
Nice looking bow Ron. All the best with it.
