So here in my neck of the woods (northeast indiana) everyone hunts, everyone. I work in a shop with at least 40 hunters so you would think I would know someone who hunted trad. NOPE!
What's going on here Indiana? I seriously do not have a single fellow trad hunter. There's plenty of people who want to, knew someone who use to, has a uncle who did, or use to but no one who still does.
So where are all my fellow Hoosiers at? I at least want to know I'm not alone out here lol
Jeffroa2001 and I are both here in northeast Indiana. There's a few more guys I know in the area. Probably half a dozen or so.
Parke County, middle far western Indiana..quite a few guys around here hunt with traditional equipment.
Deleted sorry

Good deal, I was beginning to think longbows and recurves were just cool wall hangers around here :)
I am down in the SE part of the state.
Vigo County, right on the Illinois line, probably a dozen guys around here that I know and shoot with and at least that many more that I don't spread over the Vermillion, Vigo and Sullivan counties.
I've been known to hunt with longbows and recurves now and again. :)
Putnam County here.

I'm in Pulaski county. I'm the only one around here that I know of hunting with a single string bow.
What city are you from? There's a couple good places to shoot 3D in Fort Wayne
I'm in rochester (fulton county),small town a hair over an hour west of Fort wayne
Hendricks and Putnam County hunter here!
I'm in Southern Indiana. I know of a few guys that hunt trad but really it's only me and my hunting buddy that I see regularly.
Carroll County here...I don't know anyone else around here that shoots traditional....
Down on the river here... hunt several different counties here in the southern part... there's a few of us down this way...
Also a part of the ITBA that shoots in Scottsburg...

I do in southern indiana. Trad hunters around but obviously not as common as compounds and boom sticks. If your in NE indiana you need to go check out 3 Rivers Archery. Warehouse is open to public on Saturdays. Worth the trip. Come down to the Trad shoot in Cloverdale next June and you will meet some Hoosier Trad Hunters.
I actually bought my first bow from 3 rivers, and shortly after went back to get my fiance her first bow. Great people, love doing business with them. I'd also like to check out kustom king archery, not too far away either
I'm up near South Bend, not to far North of you. I was thinking I'm the only one to hunt trad at kingsbury(fairly positive that I'm the only one that still hunts there). I'm down your way a fair ampunt to fish if you ever wanna stump shoot.
I'm in Union County, Indiana near Brookville Lake.
Columbus Indiana
I'm down here with Mike Bolin. How far from 3Rivers are you? They should be able to put you in touch with some trad guys.
I live in South central IN and been shooting a traditional bow for several years. I used to get to the shoots in Scottsburg, but haven't been there in a year or so... I miss it! It's nice to have like minded folks to shoot with and share like interest.
I'm in Southern Indiana, several guys shoot trad down here.
I hunt Morgan and Brown Co's, traditional only the last 3 years. I know a few others that do the same. We're around, obviously there are way more compound hunters though.
It sounds like you could be the spark to get a few of those guys in the shop to take an interest in trad. Just encourage them to join you whenever you get the chance, and you just might find some new hunting buddies. Good luck. Take some of them to a trad shoot, and let them pull a few strings.
There's at least six of us in grant county..the Cloverdale shoot has already been brought up,there is also farmland conservation club. They put on a spring and a fall traditional shoot.

Live in Indy, hunt Morgan, Washington, Jackson and Parke Counties.
Live in East-Central Indiana. Hunt Henry, Wayne, and Fayette counties. Would like to find some other trad hunters to share some hunts with.
Join the Indiana Bowhunters Association. Many members hunt with Trad gear and half the Board uses Trad gear. TimberHawk Bows, Blacktail Bows and Stikbows by Rick Emory are all involved or come to banquet. Several ways to meet other hunters thru the Association, I have. PM me or check out Indianabowhunterassociation.com I am glad I did.
