A lone doe just came in....half a step from a shot. About 5 deg of body rotation and she would've seen the light at the end of the tunnel. But she was NERVOUS!!! She came in breathing hard. She acted like she didn't really know what she wanted to do and ended up going back the way she came. No shot.
Another doe just ran down the fence line 75 yards to my west. Unprovoked. Ears pointing forward.
Sound likemrut activity to you guys? This may just be a good spot. I think I'll sit here a bit longer ;)
Fingers crossed one of these guys has been bird dogging them. These pics are from the camera 15 yds from me!
Its a beautiful morning too.

You have some good bucks running around you. Hope you get a crack at one of them. Did you ever get things worked out with the guy who left you the note on your stand?
Bisch
Never heard from him! :p
Not a big deal to me.
I can't hunt that spot unless there's an east or south wind. So i actually won't be over there until Sunday.
The biggest debate is....
Well knowledge is power. Do I go check all of my cams and sacrifice ~2 hours of stand time...hopefully leading to a better decision on where to sit later this weeken
Or do pull an all day sit? (For 3 days straight)
:p
....I saw one looking pretty haggard stumble out of a thicket mumbling something about "the last time I do that for 5 bucks"!!!
Hey now!!? This is a family show!!! :knothead:
I would check the cams after dark....
