Title: Lone Wolf climber seat flip up?
Post by: ChiefStingingArrow on November 05, 2016, 10:09:00 AM
I know that with the older Lone Wolf tree stands you could put a bungee cord around the tree so that you could flip up the seat. I am trying to figure out whether or not to buy the hang on or the climber. Since i shoot a long bow it is important to me that the seat flip up for shooting purposes. So, Does the seat on the hand climber flip up?

No but it does not get in the way.I have both and shoot a 66" selfbow with no problem

It doesn't flip up but it would be nice if you could find a way to flip it up and still have the stabilizer straps on.

Yeah put a bungee on it tight and it flips up. Been using it for like 10 years now

All you have to do is slide the seat around to side of tree.  Totally out of your way.  I certainly wouldn't get a hang on stand and forfeit the benefits of the climber when all I have to do is slide seat either left or right about one foot.

I have both stands and find I like the hang-on better.

Hang on will work on any tree.

The seat on the hang-on is more comfortable plus it flips up so easy and qiuetly.
