I spent the afternoon cleaning up the deer camp in preparation for my son-in-law and grandson coming out for opening of deer rifle season.
I had enough time to walk around the fields-checking out damage from a bad wind storm and looking for new entrance trails to the fields.
Best part of it was I strung up my longbow and spent a half an hour killing big round hay bales. I took a photo, but you guys probably know what big hay bales look like.
The temperatures were almost too nice. My clothing consisted of blue jeans and a short sleeved T-shirt. Pretty nice for November in northern Minnesota!
Gary,
That sounds wonderful! I think your description, and our imaginations, will do far more than the photograph could hope to achieve. Have a great weekend.

Deer camp is always a special time! Half of the fun is getting everything ready for visitors. Good luck to your son-in-law and grandson!
