Through a trade, I'm receiving a 60" 50#@28" kanati R/D longbow. Should have it by next week.
I've never shot one of these bows before. Do any of you have any experience with them?
I will post photos once I receive it.
Great bows, I think you will be happy.
I have had a couple of them......I'm not a fan of that style bow ...."BUT"......I am a fan of the performance of them. The 2 I had shot like they were 7-8 pounds heavier, smooth, quick and easy to make almost silent. I hope you like it....
The bow will start to behave at a surprisingly high brace height for that style bow. For example, you will likely need a brace height of above 7.75" before the bow begins to get quiet.
The above being said, a Kanati is a great bow. It is very fast and has one of the best grips of all of the R/D bows. Very smooth on the draw and easy to point.
Sweet!
Always wanted to try one of those.
The Kanati is as close to a perfect bow as you will ever find.. Jason is awesome go deal with and his bows are sleepers. I have a 56@ I am letting a friend borrow now that is good for everything from plinking, hunting and tourneys . You will be pleased
I shot one about a year ago, good shooting bow.
Killed my best archery buck with a Kanati. I think they are one of the best made .
I own 2 awesome bows!
