What's the preferred method?  I always use USPS Priority in the states for shipping bows.

I always ship USPS priority mail in the US and have shipped a longbow to Canada with no problem. But if you have to ship abroad like to Europe, the max length is 60" then I used UPS.I shipped a longbow to France and it got there in 7 days with no problem but it cost alittle more like $122.But if it was under 60" I could have used USPS International Priority for around $40.

USPS is the way to go if you can do it.

Apex ,
use USPS as your customer won't get dinged as much with brokerage fees ect .
if you are shipping broadheads they will be returned to you if shipped by Fed Ex or by UPS as they are now considered a weapon  --- herb

USPS is preferred as Herb said.  The brokerage fees are lower than UPS and USPS is quite good in terms of delivery time.  In fact when we order things (non archery included) we tend to order from places that ship USPS as we learned an expensive lesson using UPS.

Thanks folks!  I've always used USPS priority and have had good luck.  I wasn't sure I could use the same service to Canada.

I just shipped a bow to Canada, using usps.  It was pretty cheap, I think I paid $25 and that included insurance.  They told me they could not give me a tracking #, that seemed odd to me.  Also, I think the bow took either exactly three weeks to get there or one day short of three weeks.

I shipped some broadheads to carboncaster in Canada with USPS, and it went without a hitch----and only cost like 2 bucks.
