I really like the Delta style 7 arrow quiver - however, it's got a metallic rattle that I can NOT figure out how to get rid of. Everything is tight that can be tight. Anyone else experience this, and if so, how'd you fix it?
I get yarn from WalMart in an earth tone color and wrap the connecting rod. Seems to help. You can also check up in the hood. Sometimes a little super glue helps things.
There is a screw under the hood that might have loosened and is rattling.
I've had noise between the upper bracket screw at the shaft and the closest arrow to it.Even when the arrow seemed to have enough space that it could never touch the screw head,I got noise.Try removing that arrow and see if you still get noise.If that is the culprit,switch the screw out for a countersunk,flat head screw.Soft Velcro or moleskin over the screw head might help also.
I put thin foam with adhesive both sides between the riser and the brackets and also used loktite on the screws. You need to keep it all tight, but I really liked the configuration of that quiver. On the screws that held the brackets to the post I epoxied those. I also epoxied the screw under the hood.
I had the same issue as JimB. I was able to reposition the broadhead in the foam to get more clearance.
