Hi,
Any TradGang Members live in or near Pottstown, PA?
Thanks
Paul
I used to live in Lancaster county about an hour away. I may be able to help if you are looking for info on the area.
Thanks for the kind offer Barry. I was wondering if any members have been to, or would be interested in, visiting the grave of Bob Swinehart? I've been searching for years whilst I was in the UK, I'm a little closer to PA now, but still in Canada. I'll get there one day!
My wife was born and raised in Pottstown and we lived there when we were first married in the early 80s.she knew the swinehart family (as well as half the town) when she worked at the bank. I'll have to ask my brother in law if he knew Bob, they would be about the same age.
Hi Paul,
I live in Spring City. Not far away.. I'm not sure of where to go but I could verify the location if you would like me to.
Martin
Just got off the ' phone with Judy., at Mt. Zion Cemetery, in Pottstown. After a search of several years, I finally have the location of the resting place of Bob Swinehart.
Bob's grave is located in section F2, Lot 78, Grave number 6 . It's on the right hand side of the cemetery, just past the entrance. That is section F1, and it's the next section along
Again, if anyone makes it there, could you please post a picture, thanks
I'll try to head there this weekend. It's 15 mins from me. My kids Boy Scout Troop puts flags on the vets graves every year. Let me see what I can do.
Let me know when you get it scheduled. I'm about 25 minutes away.
I would also be interested, about an hour away.
Thanks
Jed and Ed,
I will head there in the morning before church. I have a pretty packed rest of the day.
Btw Ed, it would be good to see you. I have to go down to Leon's and pick up some limbs. Let me know if you want to go or we could met and shoot some time soon.
