Hello gang! Just wanted to check in here and wish everyone a great fall of hunting! I am marveling at how life goes and have learned that, when there's a chance to get out to the woods, don't miss it! I was very fortunate to go on both a spring bear hunt in Montana and for elk in Colorado this year. Now that fall is here in my beloved Upper Peninsula, I can't seem to get a chance to get to the woods. My kids and grand kids have needed a lot of support lately and somehow edge their agenda into my weekend hunting schedule. Now my wife's back is out and she is in misery, so I have stayed around the cabin helping her out. I hope to get out soon....hopefully tomorrow morning! Just goes to show you...hunt every chance you can cause you never know what life will throw at you next. These fall days are so precious and slip away so fast....hope you all can enjoy as many of them as you can this season!
Best of luck,
Dan
Don't worry about me if I ain't at work I'm in the woods , hope you get out soon.....

Fulfilling rightly ordered priorities and obligations first will permit the freedom to relax and take in the full hunting experience.
The deer aren't planning to show up until then anyway.

Well said Scott... Good providence Dan!
Tradition means family too. Our life, our love, our future, those that will remember us when we are gone.

Great posts guys. Enjoy all His blessings!
Very much so, oldrubline. I'm experiencing a lot of the same myself.
Hope it all comes together for you, and you get out there soon!
