I've been away from Trad hunting for quite some time.I decided it was time, actually I was talking to a fella off of this site and he said he had a very nice recurve that he was going to part with.with a heavy heart of course,he switched to longbows.Best decision I have made in a long time.shes an Assenhimer 58 inch take down.guys I strung er up ,set my target at 12 yds.And as if I'd never stopped shooting recurve, and as if I have had this gorgeous bow for 20 yrs..very first shot ,Dead center of bullseye, finished the round with an unbelievable group..I actually teared up,and Im normally not AT all like that lol...thank you Craig, and Trad site for getting my head back on straight..I am so happy.. Pat
Good stuff Pat, Enjoy!
Those Assenheimers are special bows. Some of the most under rated recurves out there in my opinion.
Jake
Good for you, great bow to get it going again. Have fun
I sold my first Assenheimer about 7 years ago and that bow had some serious MOJO. I said I would never part with my other one, but after talking to Pat I knew it would be enjoyed. That bow is in great hands! Enjoy brother Craig
Those are great bows!
Awesome bows! I have 4 of them...from late 80's they still are flawless to shoot! to bad there not being made anymore... Don was a heck of a nice guy to deal with! Really great bows! Doug Knight
I also had an Assenheimer that had some serious mojo in it. Great bow but it became too much weight for me! Maybe I should of got some lighter limbs for it! :knothead:
Most excellent match.
Just WOW
