Moved a ladderstand yesterday. Hunted it for the first time this morning. In the white oaks.
I've passed up several does and a couple small bucks this year, hunting for a particular 8 point.
Last night I decided I should fill my doe tag at my next opportunity.

Thanks Darren, John, Tim and others. I'm having a time getting her out. Rolled my 4 wheeler, very thankful I had removed my bow from the front rack. It would have been history.
Meat for freezer, great job.
Awesome!
Congrats,
Bisch

This must have been a good weekend... looks like there were a lot of trad bows dropping the string on some whitetails!
Congrats and thanks for sharing!
Congrats!
Congratulations!
Had a buck tag and was hoping to take a mature buck with it. It has been the toughest season ever for me. After taking the doe on page one, I sat several times, 36 hours total, before seeing another deer from a stand, and it was a fawn.
The past week, deer activity has picked up.
Great work and if you ever want to sell that bow please let me know.
I HATE photobucket!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I have a few 8 points on trail cameras and was hoping I could find one of them before our gun season starts next Monday. Last evening I decided to take the next buck that I saw. At 7:15 am this morning a 4 pointer came through on the trail I was perched over. 12 yard shot, 100 yard recovery.
I bowhunt exclusively, so I'll move my stands to escape routes in the thickets and see what happens next week.

Thanks TJ. As for the Kwyk Styk, it has a permanent home.
Congrats!

Seems like that bow fits you Wayne.
Tom, you have too many bows. You need to find on of those yard sale bows to hog hunt in the swamp with.
Sorry
Congrats Wayne. Heck of a hole. Looks like it should have nearly cut the top of the heart off.
