Check this out guys. The pics are in order by year starting with the top pic. Top pic is 2013. Next is 2014. Next is 2015 and the bottom pic is this year. I've gotten pics of her for four years but have never seen her until very recently. She uses a very small woodlot near my home that is surrounded by enormous ag fields. Interestingly she always shows up on Sept 14. Three of these pics were on the exact same day from year to year. Before knowing if I had any pics of her this year I finally saw her for the first time out in a picked cornfield and she had triplets. Pretty cool. It's an area I can hunt but I won't shoot her. I'd rather see how many years she sticks around.
That is cool - wonder what got her tail as a fawn? Close encounter with a coyote maybe; birth defect...who knows?
That's cool!

I hit send too soon - we had a doe with a really large knot on her lower back right leg. We assumed she broke it as a fawn. No limp or anything and she came to Dad's feeder outside of their bedroom window for 8 years before disappearing. She had triplets 4 of those 8 years. Pretty cool story.
Wow! First thing I thought was maybe a coyote grabbed it

that's awesome but ya know you got to name a special girl like that!
We have a neighbor hood deer that lost hers, she was pretty bloody what ever happened but she healed up and been around for 6/7 years that way. We all call her Bobby! Lol!
We have a 3 legged doe to, got shot during rifle season right at the knee joint. Didn't think she would make it but it's been two years and she's now back running with the gang again. There tuff!

That's pretty neat. I got a trail cam pic of a doe like that a few years ago. I never saw her in person, only pics on the cams.
Odd.. can't help but wonder what happened.
Coyotes
Dogs
Frost bight
Eboli.
So, that would be a nontypical?
I also had a doe coming around with no tail and I seen her lots of times, then after the gun season I never seen her again . I think her tail was shot off the year before, here in ND most of the shots at deer in the gun season are running. I also had 2 does that I seen many times that had there ears froze off.I watched them for about 8 years and they were adults when I first seen them, now this year they have not showed up .
