Title: Hard to believe...Cade had his 16th birthday!

This past year for me has been by far the busiest of my life.....and I wanted to get this up before Cade's birthday this past Friday, but just couldn't find the time.

And, since so, so many of you guys that have been such good friends to me and my boy, I still felt the need to get something up here so we could all celebrate my boys 16th birthday...where have the years gone...

I know the feeling about the time going fast. I thought getting older would take longer.

Happy birthday Cade. The best is yet to come. Between hunting, fishing, baseball and golf you are a busy young man. Next comes cars and girls. To be sixteen again.....

Well done, Curt. There's nothing a person can give a child that's more important than your time. Soon he'll be the workhorse of the two on the dragging stick...which is just fine. You wear the smile of a very proud father.

The next two years will fly by. The school activities, riding around with friends, first job with for spending money. In two years, he might be gone, out of the house., away at college. It will be a big adjustment for the family. It seems like things change overnight.

It's been fun watching Cade over the years with all of the hunting adventures you two have been on as he grew up. It appears you and your wife have done a great job of parenting. It's hard to believe he is already 16.

Man, don't they grow up fast! Happy birthday, Cade. Guru, now that he is 16 is he asking for a sports car or a 4X4 truck? Like so many others, I have watched Cade grow up by following your posts.

wow.  I remember reading through his trad journey a couple years back.  You did a good job, Curt. Watching all your posts on facebook of his and your daughter excite me about mine getting older.  My little man is 2 and my daughter is 3 now.  

Thanks for being a good dad.  Love watching your kids grow up!

Wow! Already 16, and it seems like just yesterday you posted the photo of Cade with the frog. That photo reminded me of my boyhood shooting frogs with a bow in Kentuckyy, Tennessee, and Indiana. Happy Birthday! Thanks for the photos. You will both remember those days no matter how long you live.
