I'm planning to hunt opening day in Oklahoma tomorrow and got to thinking about how my journey with traditional equipment started 10 year ago at the age of 18 in 2006, the summer I graduated highschool. It has been a journey that has shaped my life in many ways. The frustration and joy I've had as well as the people I have met along the way cannot be replaced.
...here's to many more years with a stick and string
Some pictures for your enjoyment:

Looks like you've had a good 10 years Michael!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing. Seems like you've had a pretty good ride so far.
Nothing like it! Special feeling when you're out in nature with a stickbow!
Nick
Looks like you are having fun, and that is what it is all about!

I love the diversity of your experiences!
You have been busy over the last 10 years. Congratulations.
Good going Michael. I can't wait to see what else you do this season!!
Congrats Mike. You're lucky, you have a lot of years left in front of you. Don't take them for granted and make the most of them.
Great Stuff Michael! Glad to have folks like you carry on the tradition. I started hard into traditional bows 29 years ago. I can only hope you have the same joy that it has brought me and develop the same friendships!
Nice post Michael. Your journey in trad bows began about the same time as mine which would have been my sophomore year of high school. I've never looked back since going only trad and i can see you've done the same. Congrats on your accomplishments so far!
Sweet pics, very cool.
