Had one of these when they first came out and it was comfortable to sit in and very well made. With my knees being so bad, I had a good bit of difficulty getting up out of it, so I sold it. With knee replacements coming up in late November I am thinking I would like to get my hands on another one. Are these still being made? If so, does anyone have any contact info and a ballpark price? Thanks in advance!
Mike
Sent you a PM
I don't think they r being made anymore....mine won't be sold anytime soon
PM Sent.
Love mine.
Lost mine....actually, it was stolen. I would like to buy another one too if someone has a line on one or doesn't love theirs quite as much as Terry and Ray?
Have given mine a workout.
What Terry said
I've been wondering the same. I have seen Dave's number thrown out but wasnt sure if he was still making them.
One of these years I'm going to try full on ground assault!
Tried to contact Dave on Friday with no luck. Will try again on Monday, but it is looking like I will be sticking with my hammock seat. I like the hammock seat a lot and it was very handy on my elk hunt few years back. Just hoping to add a PacSeat to the arsenal. Thanks for all the PMs and other input. Mike
I missed out on getting Waldrop Pacseat, and had been kicking myself ever since. Found this online last year and have been using it for hunting and the kids' soccer and field hockey games...really like it. Sturdy, reclines, decent size pack. A little noisy at first, but is getting better. Mine's in black, but there is a camo version.

I got one similar to the chairpak, way back when... one of the bowhunting companies put it out, really liked it. Lost it when I left it in the back of the truck one morning.
To bad if they stopped making the Waldrop, great product that I use all the time when hunting from the ground.
I believe Fred ASBELL penned in one of his books if there's something that you really like, by two, because it'll probably go out of production.
I'm with RonW. Used my this weekend.I believe I read on this site they were still being made about a year ago or so.
For a little more comfort, for long sits I add a 1" foam cushion to mine. This is my mobile set up that works well for me. The foam pad folds up inside the chair and then I wear a Bison Gear Haversack to carry gear on my side. When leaning against a tree like this you can make the whole seat pivot forward with you quietly. You can also pull out the bottom legs and make it a stand alone chair with the seat back at just about any angle you want.

Let us know if they are still being made.
Hey people. Good news-- I just spoke with David at length and he IS still taking orders. The contact info. in the post above is good. I'm ordering another one myself because like was stated earlier, "if you like something, buy two". And I really like my pacseat.
Great news! I tired contacting that number a week or so ago and didn't an answer! I will be calling again tomorrow!! Thanks for letting us know! Mike
Ray, I'm curious. Where'd you get that foam pad for your seat? I could use one of those. D.

Any idea of the price for a seat?
Excellent news...thank you.

David made me one a couple of years ago.
It is a shame we don't have some skillful guys who could open a shop to reproduce a whole list of really good equipment that used to be available. Oh well, wishful thinking...
I talked with David last night and ordered a pack seat from him. He said it would be shipped in two weeks or so. Delightful guy.
I got my cushion from Gander Mountain
Actually I took Fred's advise...have Two. Great seats...tippit
Nice, I may get one while I still can.
Mine will be mailed out Friday. For those interested David will be assembling a few more at the beginning of the week.
Brian P, the cost is 165.00 plus shipping if I remember right.
I had one, loved it. I was talked out of it and sold it to a customer, not my first mistake..
I talked with David to day, he was telling me the new seat is 1.5" higher, Thats great for me, easier to standup from.Anyway I have a new one coming in 2 weeks or when ever it gets done.
Love my pac seat! It's nice to know that he is still making them, might have to buy me another one. Thanks for the info
Hunted with David a couple of weeks ago and got the first hand demo of the seat. Really looking forward to getting mine before turkey season. Talked to him last night and he was really tickled with all the recent interest in his seats. Great guy with a great product.
David has figured out a way to mount a kwiver kwiver to the seat and thus solving the quiver dilemma. I don't like a bow quiver for ground hunting- the bow won't lay flat across my lap- I don't like any type of quiver that is slung across my shoulders- it's just one more thing to strap on and haul, plus the seat doesn't ride well that way. Everything is in the other's way. With the kwikee mounted to the seat- it all meshes beautifully and functions without a flaw. When you find your spot, remove the quiver- when you leave- put it back on. So simple.
Great product. Glad to hear Dave is still building them. My go to seat on long walks with no particular destination. :campfire:
Hey guys what's the seat hight . Off the ground. Have trouble getting up when the seats to low also. .
I tried one and I'll never go back after finding a Millennium tree seat. The Millennium is an absolute game changer and the one I got for my dad has literally brought him back to hunting, said it's more comfortable for his bad back then any seat he has found. Just another option.
Can anyone post a picture of how the kwiver kwiver attaches to the new seats?
