So I stopped by Kimsha Archery (a sponsor here) today to pick up a new longbow. He has a good selection of bows, in different weights and designs, but quite a few had the shelf on the wrong side of the bow, which is known in some circles as a left handed bow.
I guess he needs some room to hang more bows, so he is trying to sell off some of his stock. Therefore, he said he would part with some of the left handed bows for 30% off.
Tom is a bit technologically challenged when it comes to computers, so I offered to help him out posting some pictures for everyone to see.
He also has a good selection of arrows, points, feathers, armguards, gloves and tabs, as well as other miscellaneous stuff.
He said to give him a call at (301)934-5234.

I picked up a left handed Traditions longbow at Denton Hill this past summer with a 30% discount. Having shot this bow exclusively these past two months, I feel I got an amazing deal. Even without the discount I would have purchased this bow. You can't go wrong with his bows.
I am no expert bow shooter, and I was able to pick up his bows and shoot them, hitting where I was looking out to 35 yards with him, as long as I did my part. The bows I shot were all quiet, and very light in the hand. It amazed me that something so lightweight could send an arrow downrange with such authority. I feel like I got a good deal on my bow today. Plus my purchase came with a free shooting lesson!
I have one of Tom's Mattawomen II longbows.....one of my go to hunting bows.

ANY time spent with Tom is a Coup! He is one interesting and fine fellow. I was privilaged to get to banter with him when I lived back NE and would see him at the B'more shoots!
Fine man. Fine bows! You done good!
Dang! I hope he makes a few for us Southern MD righties, too!
GreyGoose, theres some righties left too
lefties!! oh boy I must be strong! be strong!!
Tom and his bows are top notch on all accounts!
Its starting to cool off here, so hopefully I can get my new TP out in the woods this evening and tomorrow morning. Maybe a deer or a squirrel will run out of luck when I'm around.
The more I look at the green striped limbs, the more I like it. Kinda reminds me of the old style flint lock rifles with the striped wood stocks.
Looks like Tom can't even put the shelf on the correct side...do you pics of the traditionalist?

TP is good people. Kind of a bad influence, tho :)
I gotta wonder what's in the milk jugs behind the Jo Jan multi fletch. My money is on corn likker.
Tell Tom I said "Hi", please, if you get a chance!

MikeNova, you can kinda see some of the Traditions bows in the pic of them all hanging on the wall, but its not any real detail.
I shot the Traditions bows, they shot well, but the one that I shot the best was a light r/d Mattawoman II, so I went with that.
Next time I go up there, I will try to take more pics and post them up for everyone to see.
Ill try to remember to say hi to him. As for corn likkr, theres no telling what all Tom has in that little shop of his.
