I actually bought it on DVD a few years ago, can't remember where I got it and don't know if it's stil available. It's a great video and the one that got me hooked on hunting trad.

I rewatch Bowhunting October Whitetails 1&2 every year, pre-season tradition. Enjoy them every time.   :campfire:

I love the footage that shows a der jumping the string. Actually how much a deer drops upon loose of your arrow.

The book that came out in the early 80's  was "Bowhunting Rutting Whitetails" and can still be found on Amazon. The next book was "One Man's Whitetail" also on Amazon. Great books without all the BS that fills up pages in most publications on deer hunting today.

Would anyone be willing to loan me the book? I would be willing to pay a deposit. They are priced way to high online since they are out of print.

I'm watching it this morning with a cup of coffee because the wind is wrong to get in the tree I wanted. Dang.
