How many of you have ever been frustrated by your arrow falling from the riser while in a tree stand or ground blind while waiting for that monster buck to show up? I have for years and I thought about the glue on arrow holders but honestly I just did not want to stick something permanent on my bow. So here is a quick tip for everyone that I came up with just this week and it is working great for me. Pick up some black 6" Gear Ties from Nite Ize. They work PERFECTLY to hold your arrow on the rise and can be quickly and silently removed when an opportunity presents itself. Just make a small bend over your arrow at the front of the riser, wrap around the back of the riser and loop around the arrow again. This allows you to hang your bow while keeping it ready for action and is not expensive either. You can buy 12 of the 6" ties for $15 on amazon. I can remove this with one hand and do not even have to be looking at the bow to do it. 90% of the time my bow is in my lap without anything holding my arrow but this is for the other 10% of them time when I hang up my bow to get a snack, drink or water etc. Happy hunting!

A toothpick and a small rubber band works great, and when you draw, the rubber band pops off the arrow.
Looks like it holds well.
But I'm like Roy Don't want to have to remember to remove it.
I've used a longer version of these to attach bow quivers to a limb.
My favorite arrow holder is to put on a Stay Jack or something like it with velcro to my bow.

Ok I'm ignorant of this tooth pick contraption and can't quite picture how it's used.
Neet idea.
I've never had a problem just holding my bow hand finger on my arrow. Gadgets just seem to get me into trouble.
