I was seeing no deer anywhere near my stand, when I checked my trail camera look who showed up. (http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee30/joeashton/WGI_0002_zpsfwgvbbpi.jpg) (http://s232.photobucket.com/user/joeashton/media/WGI_0002_zpsfwgvbbpi.jpg.html)
well, if I was a deer, I would not want to be around there either!!!
Hope you get some deer activity back!

"Might" have sumthin' to do with the absence of deer ... ;)
Thanks for sharing!
Wow! That adds an extra excitement to walking to your stand in the dark.
Here kitty kitty kitty . :scared:
  holy cow!,
Beautiful cat, hope he moves on now that he has run the deer out.
Very cool pic.
My bro was just stalked to within 25yds by a mountain lion. Scary situation.
I think if I was being stalked to a distance of 25 yds, there would be arrows going down range.
Morris, din din!
I have a lot of respect for you guys who hunt where there are real predators. Luckily for this big chicken (me), gators are about the only thing in my woods that can eat me.
I got stalked by one of those on a backpacking trip once. Those were the only two nights I can remember not sleeping easy in the woods. I think it was more curious than anything but that didn't offer me very much comfort at the time.

Lol my thoughts exactly .... Only mid day hunts from there on out
You can keep it out there if you would. There's a few walking around this state. Never had to watch my back in the old days while sitting on the ground but times change.
Awesome looking cat...hope the deer come back for you
Oh the deer will come back when the cat moves on. Probably a few weeks.
During the season I walked the mile+ out of that basin from my stand to the camp 13 nights well after dark.
Spooky. I also saw two bears this season. I called one to 50yards then it circled me to get down wind and like smoke disappeared.
In Iowa most of the time it is here today gone tomorrow thing for them. I have had the here today thing twice now, it is a little unnerving. However, after we were told that we were either lying or dreaming by the game warden. He became a believer when a farmer showed him the one he shot that was getting into his cattle yard.

when i hunted SC and they told me forget the gators watch out for the 7 poisonous snakes, mahoghony wasps, black and brown widows, fire ants and gnats,,,, being allergic to bees and forgetting snake boots i feared for my life down in the south land. think a cat if i kept the sheath in the ready position at all times i could get a dagger into its torso at least once if it pounced on me,,,,; snakes though the venom is flowing once bit... much due respect i think you have it worse 8v)
No Tajue your wrong. The one I saw cleared a thirty foot high earthen damn in about one and a half bounds. Prior to that it jumped higher than the cedars to knock a turkey down. I thought black bears had an unbelievable exceleration potential, but those big kitties are furred lightening.
What a kitty! :scared: 'Round here we have bobcats, they are big enough! I had one come nearly directly under my 15 foot ladder stand a few years ago. When I peeked around my leg to see what he was doing, he saw me and we locked eyes. There was not a hint of fear in his stare. He looked as if he was only curious. Too curious! I decided I had better stand up to show him I wasn't a turkey or whatever. When I moved, he tore outta there so fast I wondered if I could have hit him with a shotgun! After he was gone, I noticed that my hair (what little of it is left) was standing up. Yes sir, an encounter with a critter like that one will get the juices flowing!
