Well, I made a call into Mike at Maddog Archery a few months ago and we discussed a Prairie Predator build. I told him the woods I liked, and that I wanted green glass. He took the rest... It's a Cocobolo riser, with a Walnut lamination in the riser and the old school green glass. The tips and riser overlay are a dark Bacote. She's 55# @ 62" and shoots really well. I have owned other customs, but bought them all used. This is the first custom that I ordered and had some say in what went into the bow - I'm pretty dang excited about it.
I'm still fine tuning and tinkering on arrows. I had some .400 spine carbons so I'm trying to make those work. What do you think?

Thats a beautiful bow...love the coco in the handle! Congrats!
That is a really good looking bow!
That's nice! I really like that green glass and the contrast with the lighter and darker woods.
The green glass looks killer with the wood choice!!!
That's a beauty. Fancy veneers are pretty, but there's just something cool about the old school green and brown glass Mike uses. That is a rediculous piece of cocobolo, by the way.
A REAL BEAUTY !!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a gorgeous piece of work, my friend! Congratulations on a beautiful bow!
Maybe I'll get to check it out at CTA some time?!
Good lookin' stick!

Very NICE, good choices and excellent build for your first custom. Now go make some mojo with her.
Beautiful bow! Ive been wanting a new bow and have been looking at these. Just not sure about switching from recurve to longbow. This makes me want one though regardless. Heard nothing but great things about the Prairie Predator.
I might have to sell some stuff and see about getting one of these. Wonderful looking bow.
That is one of the nicest looking bows I've seen. Impressive...
Beautiful bow! You have a 62" draw?

I knew what you meant, but it was all teed up for me. Enjoy that bow. Its a beauty.
Really beautiful bow. I've got one that's 52 @ 28 that shoots a .600 spine gold tip really well. You might get by with a .500 full length and front weighted but a .400 spine is really too stiff for mine. Good luck!
Omg. I may have to get one? I sure would like to know the cost of one. If I'm not mistaken that Bowyer is retired Air Force I will be too in a few years and would love to buy one just to support a wingman
