My old Wes Wallace take down grip was in bad shape after all these years, my HH Wesley Special had the standard suede grip that was worn slick and shinny.
I have seen quite a few beaver tail grips these days and heard that it wore like iron so I thought I would give it a try on the Wallace TD, it turned out so good I did the Wesley also.
That ridge in the middle of the grips is the natural center of the beavertail.

I found brown beavertail on the big auction site, $15+ postage.
