Title: really cool videos of Jim Daugherty (long)
Post by: Sean B on September 13, 2016, 11:03:00 PM
Jim Daughrety was one of my favorite writers when I started bowhunting. I found a few pretty cool movie from the late 60's. Enjoy.

Thanks. I watched one the other day where Howard Hill, Ben Pearson and Wayne Stotler hunted Catalina Island.

Great stuff!

Great video and example of how fathers are to raise sons. We have been to quick to hand success to our kids before they have been ready for it or worked for it...thus ruining their character and their work ethic of going and accomplishing something.

I watched the one with his sone earlier, it was nice.  I'll have to watch the other when I have time.

He was a great ambassador of our passtime.

If you watch that video, then go to the other uploads on the same YouTube account.  He has a bunch of other old hunting minutes.  Great stuff!  My dad hunted Catalina a lot back in the 60's & 70's.

Yes,  a great read since my start in the late 70s!

Always enjoyed his predator calling tales,  too!
