The wife calls my bow my mistress so i been thinkin of a good name for her "Shelly" she a bw psa ironwood , but havent decided yet for sure , just curious i kno some of yall had to have named your bows lets hear'em id post pics but cant figure it out tried many different ways but they aint workin
-
The only bow I've named is my favorite, my pse talon 54@31. I call her Sweetheart because she is the sweetest shooting bow I own even though she is only 58 inches long
-
Never really named one before, but I actually picked one up used for my wife to shoot with me earlier this year. She enjoys shooting with me, but doesn't want to hunt with it. The thing is, her bow is the best shooting bow in my house, so it's probably going to be my primary hunting bow this year. My wife is part of an online community where she goes by the screen name "Serenity", so I've been calling her bow by that name. So I guess for this season, my mistress is named after my wife.
:campfire:

Mine isn't a mistress, but it does have a name. I have the name "Colonel" on it, after my grandfather's nickname. Everybody called him "Colonel" from his years in the service. He's been gone a few years, but I thought that it would be a good way to take him to the woods with me. He never was a hunter, but he always liked to hear from my brothers and I about our hunts or see anything that we happened to tag.
-
Im not sure where the name shelly came from just kinda came to me but want to give her a name with some meaning like "colonel " and "serenity" cool names and meanings bythe way
-

I'm not too inventive. I call my Wes Wallace Mentor "Wes".

The bow I cant even think about parting with while others come and go has her name written on the belly of her upper limb, but Jason Westvang at Dryad Bows did that and signed her, to boot. Not sure who first came up with "Faith".

PiggerStien - Pronounced Steeenn, for now, in honor of Gene Wilder

I never think of my bows as female... Never name them other than my "go to" bow....

I got a 1974 Bear K Mag for my birthday from my younger brother a couple years ago. I killed a real nice nanny with her the first trip out which was on Fred Bear's birthday. So in keeping with the getting lucky on your birthday with a beautifully curved lady theme,
I named it Monroe. In honor of JFK.
