Hi fellas, I have been practicing with 3 under for a little bit. I normally shoot split with fingers. I am still using fingers, just 3 under.
Yesterday while moving things around (nock height) I started to blow off nocks. I'm not sure whats causing it. It happened probably 8 times. At first I though it was because my arrow nock was sliding up the string because I hadn't added a top one yet. Then I did, and it still happened. Then I though they were too close, still happened. Then that I was hitting them with my fingers and pushing the nock off a bit, so I crawled down a little with my fingers, still happened. Now I'm thinking I'm pushing it off with my face?
No idea guys, any ideas? :knothead:
Are you talking about nocks or nocking points? There is a difference.
Blowing off glue on arrow nocks. I have shot them hundreds of times and never had a problem until yesterday.
That is certainly an interesting problem. Never heard of that before. Will definitely be following this thread to see what the resolution is going to be.
What type arrows, wood or aluminum? What type glue?Sounds like either a glue/substrate issue or something in the prep?
Nocks been on awhile, or are they newly added?
Check the shaft at the end ,might have a very fine hair line split. For me that has been the issue in the past.Good luck.
Please define "blow off nocks"
not sure what you mean. thanks
