Well it came today, I put it together and set the brace, grabbed some Forgewoods and went and shot for a while, I could not put it down, screaming fast and smooth. It is only 56" but handles my 29" draw just fine with no pinch and no stack. Thank you Bob Morrison. Ya'll don't want to see any pics of the beautiful bow again, do ya.
Danny
Better send it to me direct Danny. Pictures are so yesterday. LOL Why do you even ask you tease?
You gotta, cause the ones you showed were of a similar bow not this one.
Oh, all right, here ya go.

What Rob said.<><
That's a beauty Danny. Gotta agree with the above two posts however. ;)
WOW is all I can say. I wonder how long he is gonna keep this one. LOL
Very Nice!
I love that Macassar Ebony! That is amazing there is no finger pinch at 56" drawing 29"...and great shooting at 10yds! lol, just kidding.
Wow!!!! Man is that sweet!!
I need to get to the bank for a loan....
Meany.
That bow gives me bad vibes, its bad luck.Send it here Ill do an excorcism on it.Ill get it back to you in a year or 2.
I love the Morrison bows and I have one, that is just another one I seen for the first time and I love the looks of it. That sure is a nice looking bow.
Something special about those dark woods to me! What a beauty! Thanks for sharing. Didn't I read somewhere that you were a retired Navy CPO?
Nice bow! I always read threads started by you Rowans. There's bound to be a pic of a pretty new bow inside. Would'nt you know it, when I opened this one there was vermonster13 right between you with the first post. He's a threat to have a new bow at any time also. :biglaugh:
Killie the bow is 56",macasser riser with accents,Mun ebony vaneers, kudu tips,63# at my draw.
Apex, yep retired OMC (SW). Spent 5 yrs in Jax,Brunswick was just a tiny little town then. Much bigger now. Could not believe how much it had grown when I went to FLETC in 99.
Bubba, this un ain't goin anywhere.Took in in the Jungle last evening, no pigs but she got blooded on a big range rooster.
Danny
Danny good luck and good hunting with that work of art.If that bow shoots half as good as it looks man oh man! I'd be afraid to take that baby out of the house.
Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, the skins are Texas King snake.
Thanks Tom.
LOL Snag, actually one at 10,one at 20 and one at 30. Third group out of her. First two wer not as tight but all were in the kill zone.
Danny
Danny, nice bow! I really like the skins. I'm waiting on my Cheyenne, my first Morrison. I bought one of Bob's stock bows, Macasser and Bocote riser, dark honey limbs, 58", 55# @ 28". It's obvious that it's a beauty, but what are your thoughts on the way it shoots compared to some of the top end bows you've shot in the past? I know you've shot alot!! Thanks, Jr.
Very sweet Danny. When's it coming to VT?
I wanna be like Danny when I grow up... LOL
Congrats on a beauty. NICE shooting too. :readit: :wavey:
Jr.,
It performs just as well as my Blacktail and Brack, probably a bit faster than both. I could care less about speed as long as the bow feels right in the hand and I can control my shot with it. I hunt a bit from a Double Bull and that is why I bought this one. At 56" it will be perfect. I have shot my 60" Blacktail out of the blind as well as my 62" Brack but a short bow is a plus in a confined space. All of the top end bows I have shot have been great performers. For me it is about the grip. The Brack,Blacktail and this one have the perfect grip for me. I have my first Marraih coming so am hoping her grip fits me as well.Schafers,Dale Dyes, and Black Douglas to name three are outstanding bows but their grip does not fit me as well. another great bow with a good grip for me is the Cari-Bow Taiga and Silver Fox.I will own another of each one day. I gotta get a bigger bow rack,LOL.
Dave, if I can ever get a transfer back to the mainland I will bring her up.She might be a tad stout at your draw though,LOL.
Thanks Ron.
Danny
That bow is SWEEEEEEEET.
I agree Danny. The grip is the most important thing for me. When I pick up a bow and hold it you can just tell if it is going to work for you or not.
Nice grouping for so early in your relationship!
