I have a Ben Pearson Colt recurve bow 45# draw weight that was my father's, probably from the late fifties or early sixties. am looking at the Carbon Express Heritage arrow for it and I'm wondering what would be the best spine/weight. Thank you for any help.
No glasses on,thought it said 35# .Have some customers shooting 90and some 150.Depends on point weight and length.

Thank you!
I think a 150 would serve you much better. A 90 is 600 spine so a 75 must be 700? Much too weak in my opinion.
A Heritage 150 has a .495 spine,Heritage 90 has a .588 spine and the Heritage 75 has a .670 spine.I would go with the Heritage 90,but there are a lot of variables like your draw length, length of arrows, centershot of bow and how much point weight?
Agree with all of the above. Out of my mid-40# bows, I shoot 75s for 3-D with 125gr points. For hunting, I go with the 90s, cut just a hair shorter and with 200gr points. 150s are a bit too stiff for my bows unless I put a real boat anchor up front.
I shoot 150s cut to 30in. 100 grain inserts and 145 grain points . My bow is Black Widow pch 45 lbs @ 28in. But I draw right at 29in. So I shot like 47 lbs
I shoot all the heritage arrows from many different bows and your bow above I would start with a Heritage 90 cut to 29" with a 200gr point,, some of my bows in that range even like 250gr points.
if the 90 ends up being too heavy for you then try heritage 75 with 125's
Just for reference, I shot 29" CE150 with about 250 grns up front out of a 51# Shrew.
I think 150's may be too stiff from a 45# unless they are kept long. Just a guess.
