Iv been stripping and dipping/cresting/fletching all my old arrows this week... I was zoned out and without realizing it used duco cemeney on about 2 dozen arrows... Feathers to fletch lac dipped shafts...
They dried fast and seem fine... Should I expect yellowing or other problems?
I like how much "cleaner" duco is than fletch tite .. Thanks
I think it should be just fine .
Duco is a good adhesive , just don't try and use it on aluminum arrows .
I was always told Ducco was a no no with fletch Laq. But worst than can happen is feathers fall off. Yellowing may a cure.
I can't pull the feathers off if I try. Just wondering what will happen over time
I wouldn't try to pull them off. But, If a few loosen up and fall off, I'd strip them all and start over. I've never had good luck fletching with Duco and stopped using it many years ago. I still use it for gluing on nocks.
Thanks. I wish I hadn't done two dozen. It will be a huge waste of time if they fall off. Back to fletch tite..
