Hello,
I can not find the right wood arrow spine for my new Big Jim Buffalo, I need your help !
He is 66 inches and 51 pounds at 28 inches.
My draw is 29 inches and I cut my arrow at 30 inches. My string is a SBD 8 stands or 14 strands astroflight.
At present I use a 60/65 sitka spruce tapered cut at 30 inch, with 40 gr Top Hat adapter and 125 gr Top Hat field point, 3 x 4" feathers and bohnig classic nock
It is for making 3D.
thank you for you help ;)

I have a 64" Buffalo 50@28. I draw 29" and use 55-60 POC 29 3/4" to BOP. Flys like a dart with 125 field points or Woodsman broadheads.
Do you try to tune the arrow?

Yes but I find that my arrow she's so weak.
Starting with 53 lb draw weight, add 10 lb for 2" arrow length and 5 lb for the adapter weight, I get 68 lb. Add more for shelf depth of cut. Bonne chance!

thanks
Try 70-75
I have a Blackwidow longbow, 55lb @ 28". A 70-75# Surewood Douglas Fir shaft cut to 30" with 3 x 5" feathers and a 160 grain point really suits it.
Good luck with it.
