Title: anybody know a good replacement for Easton XX78 2312's?
Post by: johnnyk71 on August 31, 2016, 02:37:00 PM
Easton has apparently quit making the XX78 Super Slams. i have a bow that is perfectly tuned for the 2312s, cut to 29".

i do NOT enjoy tuning, and would really love to buy a dozen of them and just stay with what works. having a hard time getting any, though.

barring that, anybody figured out what the closest equivalent to the XX78s is? I know the XX75s are similar, but they are not as tough or bend-resistant as the 78s.

thanks in advance!

I believe they're still being made. X7 is same as XX78 and 2312s are available.

Johnny, if you can't find any 2312's, try the 2215's, close in spine and weight;  the 2020's are much heavier but spine is close.

I really don't think you'd notice the difference in XX75's. It would save you re-tuning too.
