Hey all, getting ready to go to the Branson area for the next month for work. Putting up a timber frame on table rock lake. Does anyone know of a good range anywhere around that area? Also planning on visiting the archery museum at the Springfield bass pro and a stop by black widow in Nixa.
Should be a good time to finish getting tuned for deer season, without my kids whining about who's touching who and who wants to watch winnie the pooh vs star wars. I do love those little boogers, but man it's hard to get anything done in a timely fashion!

Timber frames are not all that common, this is just a sample of the style of homes we cut. Everything is mortise and tenon joinery, held together with white oak pegs. They say houses aren't built like they used to, but we build them like the pilgrims did.
Just in case anyone was wondering what the heck a timber frame is

Just north of Branson West on Hiway 13 is a little shop with a great inside 3d setup. Also in Branson itself there is a bowshop with the same type of 3d inside range. BW is on 13 on the south side of Springfield in Nixa. I have a neighbor that builds timber frame structure too here in Kansas. We have a cabin on Tablerock by Branson West and Kimberling city. Where is Kansas are you from and where on Tablerock are you building the structure?

Panther Creek Traditional Bow Range in Fordland, MO. That's about 45 minutes from Branson. Don Orrell is a great guy, good bowyer and puts on a nice shoot. He's having a 3D shoot all weekend at his place this coming weekend. Call him at 417-830-0876 for more info.
