Title: Bow hospital
Post by: Mitch Edwards on August 25, 2016, 04:59:00 PM: I posted this over on the bowyers bench and a guy said I might get better results here so here goes. I've got a 59 kodiak that I would like to have refinished with a new leather grip and the whole works. Want it to look brand new again and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the bow hospital. Like I said over there I'm not doubting the mans skill I just would like to hear from his customers. Also any other reliable refinishers out there? I'm goin to be very particular about this bow. Thanks

John does an unbelievable job restoring a bow , he did my '73 K-Mag and it looks better than new .

Post by: fivebears on August 25, 2016, 07:48:00 PM: I sent my 59 Kodiak to him a few years ago. The tips needed repaired so I had him refinish the bow in a satin finish also. I think he did a great job and I am very happy with it.
