Title: Oliverstacy still making strings?

Been away from trad archery for a while and have not got a string from Josh Sowerby (Oliverstacy) in probably 4 years.   I've got no response from his email and the phone number is no longer in service.  His he still making strings? Anyone have his newer contact info?

I contacted him via email about a month ago and a month before that and had no response either. Hope all is well with Josh...

If you can't get Josh, Allen Shafer with 10 Ring strings makes a top notch string and his service is great. Allen is a sponsor here.

I think he makes all the strings for Brian Wessel's bows at Tall Tines. He made me one about 4 months ago. I sent him a text.. I'll see if I get a response.

He texted me back.. I told him about this thread. He should chime in here soon. He said he is still making strings but "on a limited basis"

Josh made great strings. But, tenring makes a great
String and has fast service.

I hope he will build me one. I was a good customer, I probably have 15-20 of Josh's strings, always made perfectly.  The string I need is for a Black Widow LAG longbow I recently picked up.  I like a certain formula for my strings, D10 material, 14 strands, .024 Halo serving. Works well with my GT nocks after about 100 arrows, slick release, and has pretty much zero creep.  Never got into the "skinny strings" that have become popular. I don't like change, it drives my wife nuts!    :D

There is always SBD and Tenring. Both are incredible strings if Josh isn't making them anymore. I've got strings from all three. All real nice.

I have used Allen as well at Tenring. Great guy and great strings.

Talked with Allen at Ten Ring strings and ordered a string made with the Brownell Fury material.  I agree, Allen is a great guy!
