I went to the local club (Barefoot Archery)yesterday and had a good time. They have a unique spot in the woods along an active creek in Alamance Co. NC, . Even though it was pretty warm, it was comfortable in the shade, which is plentiful there. The food was good, everyone friendly, and a lot to see and share. It was good to see old friends, and there were plenty of young archers as well. As a vendor I didn't get to shoot the course, but that didn't hurt to much. I did some buying and selling so that I came home with several new toys. Isn't life great? Thanks to the guys at Barefoot! You did well.
Sounds like a great time .
How many trad shooters were there? was it an event? Tell us more.
Barefoot is a traditional club so there weren't any compys there. It was a local event that wasn't highly advertised but there were probably 60 or more in attendance. It' usually a 20 target event with a toughman shoot that is separate. There were several people from out of state.
whats a toughman shoot?
