My dad wants to set up his old grizzly. He only pulls 26in. So bow is 40@26.
Cx heritage 75 or 90's or 1535's goldtips work well?
1535 28" w about 200 point

BOOM, and James nailed it :)
600s like the 1535s or try alum 1716s. Don't be in a hurry to cut the arrows. Tune w whatever point weight you are going to want to use. The arrow will tell you how long it needs to be...
Yep, sounds like James hit it!
You mentioned CE75s. That's what I'm shooting for light arrows out of my low-mid 40# bows, full length with 125gr. Since your dad is only drawing 26", that would be another option for you - probably cut back to 28" - 29" with 175 - 200 gr points.
As the rifleman said above, don't be in any hurry to cut length. Carbons stiffen up fast.
I have tuned before and have a nice saw. I enjoy tuning arrows up. Needed a starting point. Thanks so much guys!
One more question. From gold tip. The new sizes. I forgot they went to decimal in spines. So I guess the 1535 is .600?
Yes 1535's are .600 spine.
Could maybe bump out the strike plate and shoot them
Full length if you wanted
