Title: Pre-Season Tune-Up (with pics!)

My buddy Rodd, GoingOldSkool on here, and I finally got out to shoot some 3D this year!  

We were worried about it being muddy, but it turned out to be a perfect day!

Here's Rodd readying himself to place another arrow in the 12-ring!

We showed up and needed someone else to shoot with us, and luckily this young man was looking for some partners too!

Wyatt was an impressive young man.  If he is the future of traditional archery, the sport is in good shape!

The young man had built his own wooden arrows, leather armguard, and leather quiver (which I was completely jealous of!).  And to top it off, when we finished, he showed off his self-bow that he was just putting the finishing touches on!

We had a blast!  We kept saying all summer we needed to get out, but it always seemed like something got in the way.

This time it all worked out, and it was good to get some shooting in with good people!

Anyways, I don't take it too seriously, but I love shooting 3D!  In my mind, it's great practice, and even better fun!

That trip was well worth the hour drive!  AND great shooting brother!  It was a real good time!

where is that 3d range? I live in Branson and have had no luck finding one in the area...
