If I adjust my brace height will it change my nock point and will I need to retune.
If you set your nock point for dead level flight, it might. I set my nock point for slightly, maybe 10 degrees, nock high, because I think that makes for a more forgiving setup. Given that I slightly detune my nock point anyway, I don't think a small change in brace height should effect nock point. That said, I occasionally shoot a bare shaft through my bow for no particular reason other than to see if the tune has changed over time due to changes in my form, or whatever.
I've never had a problem changing Brace height and having to reset a Nock point ....I just twist the top and the bottom end of the string the same number of turns.... that way it shortens the string on both ends and doesn't have to equal out over several shots
My results mirror Terry's. My nock point has remained the same after small changes in brace height.
Agreed. A few twists doesn't change the nock point, even if they're all made from one end.
Thanks
