Got a new box in the mail just in time to head North from KS to Ontario for bear. 56" myrtle on myrtle Elkheart from Gregg at Javaman Archery. I think it turned out pretty Purdy!
I'll update in a few weeks hopefully with my first bear pics.
Thanks to Gregg for getting it done just in time for a little practice before I leave!

Sweet looking bow !!!
I love the colors of that bow! Congrats. Elkheart's are one of the best. Good luck with it. I got a kill, my first hunt with my Elkheart.
Great looking bow like all Gregg's creatures.
But what really impresses me is the forgiviness and the dependability. Good luck with that beauty.
Beautiful bow. I've got my heart set on a Helms Deep. Good luck with yours.
Looks nice!

X 2!!!!
Dang, that is beautiful. Gregg is one of the best. Congrats on the new bow and good luck on your hunt.
Oh my!!! What a stunning bow. I love Myrtle and that is a beauty. Best of luck with your bear hunt.
Thanks.
Matt I have a helms and it is equally as nice a shooter as my elkhearts for sure. If your hearts set on one....pull the trigger when you can. You won't be disappointed.
Nice looking bow. Good luck
on your hunt.
Wow! Very nice.
Great looking bow. Good luck with the bears.
Very nice!
Excellent taste!!
I think that's my favorite looking Elkheart so far. Gregg keeps raising the bar. There is a reason he's one of my favorite bowyers ever.
Beautifull!!!! Great Greg!!!!!!!
Beautifull!!!! Great Greg!!!!!!!
Just FYI...woods are from Curt at the Wood Vault. Gregg and Curt = winning combination.

It'll probably be a while yet. I've got three kids, 2, 6, & 8, so other priorities take precedence. Plus I have several bows already, so I don't really have a need for a new one right now. When I do get a chance to get a new one, the Helms Deep will be one of my top choices.
Nice! I am still loving that CH I got from you. Good luck on bears.
Very nice looking bow. Gregg is a true craftsman and such a pleasure to deal with. My Elkheart is similar and LOVE the beaver tail grip. Good luck with your hunt. I'm looking for my first blood in September.
PS: You may have to change your TradGang name. :saywhat:
I hear ya Bruce.
I still have a few older Classic hunters as well.
They are proven warriors in the field and will probably keep them forever so I guess the name still fits... But I am a proud member of the KScoffeyclub for sure! :archer:
Sweet !!!
