If your string hand sweats with a glove on and you keep shooting will this make the string grooves indentation on the glove?
-
Probably accelerate it, one reason I switched to a tab.
-
Depends on the glove. Those with no inserts like Damanass (sp) yes. Another reason I gave up on them years ago. My American Leathers glove with thin inserts no. It is a year now and no wear or string grooves. I shoot mid weight bows, 55-60#.

what glove do you have gunner?
-
I have the crossover Kangaroo leather. It is all I have wanted in a glove. I know it is pricey and not a fit for everyone but I love mine.
-
Crossover is a top notch glove. If required you can send in a hand tracing for fitting. It will outlast your thinner gloves to make up for the price.

nhbuck, I've been following your glove search, as you probably recognize. Can't know for sure, of course, but knowing the glove you've tried,if neither the legacy kangaroo not the need glove are to your liking... look at M60's post above. Take a look at the American Leathers kangaroo crossover.

The Kangaroo crossover is great, I have had my now over a year and it is in great condition. My bow is 64@29". I would say the price is right on for this type of craftsmanship.

I own the roo crossover as well and I love it, but I wish now with the hours of shooting I do, id of gone with the buffalo. After a couple days straight of long sessions, my fingers do get tender and I have to take a break.. I dont think that would happen with the buffalo. Im developing caluses (sp?) on the balls of my fingers as a result. Im going to have to invest in the buffalo. My bows are mid to upper 40's @ 28".

my hand sweats alot in the legacy kangaroo glove

Treat your hand with a nightly dose of antiperspirant. Certain dri is a good product for this.
