My archery shop contacted me today about my bear super grizzly that delaminated 2 weeks ago, well turns out bear is making me a new bow and should be around 6 weeks max, I'm glad they did the right thing, bear has great customer service. Hmm what should I get for my next bow? I'm on the list for a thunder child, anyone know a decent priced longbow?
Always nice to hear about a company stepping up and doing the right thing!
The only way to do business.
Both the Bear Montana and Au Sable get high marks from those who own them if you are thinking Bear longbow.
Good to hear.
i was thinking montana idk yet, what are other good brands?
You can get a Maddog Archery Praire Predator for roughly the same price as a Bear Montana...of course it'll take a couple months to get your hands on it but it would be worth the wait. Mike makes great bows!!

Good customer service is what makes loyal customers, just saying :)
Any bear bow? what parameters did they give you?
Personally I would get a bear recurve the 59 kodiak or even another grizzly.....or a super grizzly!
I would also vote for a prairie predator if looking for a longbow in the montana price range in that price range, as you get a zippier bow custom made to your specs.
I like the au sable if i was limited to bear longbows.
But this is all personal preference, take it with a grain of salt.
there giving me a new super grizzly which i had before, the super kodiak looks like a nice bow too
My second or third longbow I got on trade here, it was a 62 inch reflex deflex crooked stick longbow. I shoot my self bows now but my son still talks about that bow. As well mannered a bow as I ever shot.
Great to hear Bear made good for you. I like the Super Grizzly and I hope your new one lasts like they usually do (longer than we do!)
The Montana are great bows
