I've got a Toelke due in the first week of August and should be coming up on Mike Treadway's list sometime in August too. Man the wait is hurting worse this time then usual.
I've never ordered a custom bow before. Not sure that I could handle a long wait. :banghead:
How long was the wait.......I hate a long wait. I waited a year once.......never again. The bow was great when I got it but that's just to long for me. A couple of my favorites only took 5-7 weeks, I like that.........
I can promise you that the wait for the Toelke & the Treadway will be worth it
Toelke runs about a month, 8 months or so for the Treadway.
When I talked to Dan he told me that he would be giving me a call in 7-8 weeks. 7 DAYS later he called me and wanted my address to ship my bow!
I have a Prarie Predator from Maddog Archery coming in mid-August. My first custom bow. I've been anxious since I ordered it!
My Silvertips and Caribow took 14 months or so. That's my fault. But I don't want simple stuff:)
Wow I only waited 6 weeks for two bows from Flatline Bows .
I must have been lucky .
I've got a Maddog Mountaineer from Mike McCready that'll be ready in a few weeks if not sooner. I think they're normally 8-10 weeks but he told me he was a little ahead of schedule and I ordered it mid June so could be anytime!!
I waited a little over a year once. It is a tough wait for sure.
Waiting stinks! Ive gotten 2 maddog prairie predators over the last 8 months. Both only took 6 weeks, but it felt like FOREVER!!!
I had to wait 8 years for my favorite mandolin....i about forgot id ordered it....NOT.
Now im impatient to get my deer mount back and its not coming until at least the end of August. ....ugh.
Got a Two Tracks Echo that should be here by the end of the month or so...simply can not wait!!!
Bill-
I ordered my first longbow prairie predator from Maddog...should be here in about 5-6 weeks

Oh don't even get me started on mounts lol. I killed a 120ish 8 point in full velvet in 2014 I'm still waiting on!!
I don't have a custom bow (yet :) ) so I don't know about that wait time. Quite a number of years ago, I did have to wait a long time for a custom Shiloh Sharps black powder cartridge rifle made right here in Montana. It was over two years and I can tell you it was worth it.

Taking mine out Friday night, frog hunting.
Longest wait I've had was for my Blacktail. Think it was about 13 months.
Wow, lots of you guys are waiting on maddogs, I better get off my desk and in my shop.
I have been waiting since September for my Javaman Tanjavur but he recently emailed me stating I will be coming up soon. It's been a long wait but I know it will be worth it when it gets here.
13 months into an 18 month wait for a Dale Dye,
9 months into a 13 month wait for a Schafer.
