Title: Bear Static Recurve Repro
Post by: bpjon on July 17, 2016, 05:57:00 PM
Is anyone currently making a close reproduction of the 1950s Bear static recurves? I have a 1954 Kodiak, but I am a bit leery of shooting it too much and would like to find something of more recent construction.

Could we all see your Books bow?  I have an old bow that I would like to compare to it.  BTW, my dad bought it when I was about 7 yrs old, or 56 years ago.  He bought it used so I really don't know how old it is.

LBR made a string for it and it shoots ok.  It is about 65" long, unstrung.
