Title: acadian woods tree stik
Post by: savage1 on July 11, 2016, 10:23:00 PM
Anyone shooting Tims tree stik?

They are some lookers for sure but I never come across one in person.

I sure would like to shoot one for myself.
They seem hard to come by..

I've got a good friend who shoots one, and he loves his.  It's a real pretty bow too.

I've been on Tim's waiting list since March, 2015. My turn should be coming up sometime soon. I would be interested in selling my spot on his list if anyone is interested.

My Dad shoots one.  Beautiful bow!  Tim's craftsmanship is outstanding.  My Dad is a lefty, so I can't speak about shooting the bow. Having said that, it's very quiet even with the lighter arrows he likes to shoot; just over 8gpp. I've watched for one to come up on the classifieds, but you never see them.  If you get your hands on one you might be a one bow guy.

Best regards, Chase

They are great shooters ... I donated one to the St Jude auction this year and it went at a very low price compared to what Tim gets for a new one. You almost never see them for sale in the classifieds. Mine was 60" 54@28 .... great bow

I've had a couple myself. A one piece and three piece TD. And still regret parting with them. Great bows!!

Thanks for the replies. A used one would be great but I prefer a longer bow and a great many bows are 58" and 60" so I pass on them. Never seen a used acadian..
I draw 29.5 and like mid 40s to low 50s and many used bows are either brutally heavy orlow 40s on down.lol
Kinda like clothes shopping, my size is always sold out or picked over!

Yeah, a lefty.

I'm sure they're out there.
I am surprised I have never seen one in Wisconsin.

Tim's web page says he is not taking new orders at this time.

I was fortunate enough to pick up the one Elkken donated. I plan on it being my primary bow this year. I need to add it to my signature block.

I have a one piece 62" 40@28 that's a great bow. Smooth and quick for a 40# bow. I won it at the 20th LTB shoot in 2013. Didn't shot to much until last year when I hurt my shoulder and had to drop down in weight but it will do anything my 50# bows will do. Tim makes a great bow and he's a very nice guy to deal with.  Good luck I hope you find one, you wont be disappointed.
